To all who have served in our armed forces, or still do, a big Thank You to you and your families for your service and sacrifice.
Attend some kind of service in your community to honor veterans today, even if it’s just a visit to the cemetery. Take the kids or grand kids and help them know what Veterans Day is all about.
Keep preparing! Angela

Practical Parsimony says
I didn’t attend a service because the main one is just standing, no chairs for sitting. But, I did a good deed–helped a young man combat his unfair firing from Walmart, told him how to apply for a disability, steered him to proper agency, gave advice on which major to pursue that gave him the best chance to earn a living. Advice to anyone changing universities/jr college: when you enroll and are told certain credits transfer, get it in writing.
This advice could change the direction of his life. He is too young to get a disability and not work, so he needs the work that will suit his tastes and make him a viable job candidate. Besides, he will be able to work and wants to do so.
Today, in Alabama it was a beautiful day for all the parades. It is the oldest and largest Veteran’s Day Parade in the nation.
