I've got to get a food dehydrator. It would make my life easier.
My mom had a food dehydrator. I'll have to ask her if she still has it. We used to make homemade beef jerky and all sorts of dried fruit growing up!
I know what you mean about harvest time being busy! I've been canning all day!! I'll be glad to have it all this winter though! Thank goodness for yummy home grown goodies!
