Holy cow we’ve had a fun year here at Food Storage and Survival! The highlight of the year was the release and many positive reviews of my new book, Food Storage for Self-Sufficiency and Survival. If you haven’t had a chance to pick up a copy for yourself or a friend, now would be a great time!
We had some highlights on the blog as well, and today I’m sharing the best of the best of this year. Some of these posts were written this year, some have been around a while, and all are reader favorites for 2014! I really appreciate you readers and friends who help me share the good news of preparedness with so many through your own social and social media circles. That’s how these posts make it to the top of the list, so thank you.
And now without further ado, I present (insert drum roll here):
The top 14 posts of 2014!

Funny thing is I still have two of the original bricks and my daughter actually thought she was hungry enough to try to eat one in the car the other day. It was just as difficult as it looks like to get a bite off it. Just make them like the recipe in the second post–it will make eating them so much easier!
