Great information. I especially agree with your #1. Everyone should do some kind of preparation. I recommend having a basic 72 hour survival kit for each member of your family. When you have accomplished making your first survival kit then work on some more long term goals. Start with a 2 week supply of food and water. Make an emergency plan for your family and have designated places to meet in case you can’t return home. Also if you have a pet make an emergency kit for them.
